Post Operative HomeCare & Convalescence

Increasingly, individuals are choosing to spend time at home following an operation or hospital procedure to recover and recuperate.  Although some services currently exist within the primary care and community settings to assist with this, we have found an increasing need from clients to be able to provide this service.

For some time now, Runway HomeCare has been providing Nurses to assist clients in the recovery process.  The types of conditions or duties that we can assist with is varied and covers most major specialities in healthcare.  A member of our Nursing Management team would be happy to discuss your options and outline the services that we would be able to provide to you at home.

Many health insurance companies now provide some assistance with the costs incurred from having a nurse provide care at home for you.  We would advise that you contact your health insurance provider before your admission to hospital to check your eligibility for this, and the amounts that the health insurer will cover you for.  This will allow Runway HomeCare to provide you with an accurate costing and work to provide you with the best care coverage possible.
